We are continually developing lower-emission and more resource-efficient production methods, relying on ethical guidelines in our corporate governance, and aim to achieve carbon-neutral production by 2035.

Through measures such as heating optimization, LED conversion, more efficient processes, and employee training, we were able to reduce our Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions per hanger produced by around 8% compared to 2023.
42% less fresh water consumption
By converting to a closed cooling circuit system in the welding department, water consumption was reduced by 42% compared to 2022.

Sustainable metal coat hangers
Metal coat hangers from MAWA are a sustainable choice for many reasons. We have been manufacturing in Germany since 1948 and are continually optimizing our production processes to make them even more environmentally friendly. Our production waste is recycled, and we use only PVC for our anti-slip coating, which is free of harmful plasticizers (phthalate-free according to DIN EN ISO 18856, RoHS-compliant according to DIN EN 62321-3-1).
